The Challenge of Convergence
Convergence Community Session 10th July 2003
A session within the IMA Vision, Video, and Graphics International Conference
2003.
This is an opportunity to explore:
- Opportunities for convergence to happen both within the UK,
the EU and internationally.
- How to bring people together
- How we might take convergence forward
The EPSRC has a range of mechanisms to support the development of research at this
convergence. We would encourage consideration of
- A Convergence Network
- Summer Schools to train postgraduate students (& others) at the
convergence
- Overseas travel grants and visiting fellowships
Registration
This session is an integral part of the VVG conference and delegates should
register with the conference. The conference website is www.cs.bath.ac.uk/vvg/

To encourage discussion during the session, papers are
invited that explore the following areas:
- To gain a better

-
To identify funding needs and mechanisms

electronically no later than 5pm on the 27th June 2003 to mark.hylton@epsrc.ac.uk.
